A website to help people access local support services in Wales
and find the information and advice they need to improve their well-being is now available.
Launched at the National Social Services Conference on 30 June, the Dewis Cymru website is an important first for Wales - a single, clear and reliable point of access that can be used by members of the public, as well as care service professionals across Wales, to help support people achieve their well-being goals.
The website forms part of the ongoing delivery of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act, which highlights how the provision of high quality information plays a central role in helping people remain independent, manage their well-being and shape the care services they receive.
Dewis Cymru currently has local information for North Wales, Cardiff, the Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr Tydfil. Local information for other areas will be added soon.
