UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018

These two pieces of legislation set out how organisations will need to handle personal data to enhance the rights of, and give more control to, the people whose data is held.

Our Data Protection Policy explains how we ensure that the Personal Data we collect is processed correctly and securely, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and other related legislation. It will apply to information regardless of the way it is collected, used, recorded, stored and destroyed, and irrespective of whether it is held in paper files or electronically.

If you feel that Data Cymru have mishandled your data, you have the right to complain. You can contact our Head of Statistics and Research (sam.sullivan@data.cymru / 029 2090 581) and we will resolve the matter as quickly as possible to prevent any further mishandling.
